Recruitment Internship

Corporate Accountability International is building our team of staff and we’re seeking a Recruitment Intern to assist in implementing an outreach program to identify and hire top-notch organizers, fundraisers, researchers, and administrators, from entry-level to senior staff positions. The Recruitment Intern will play a key role in the program by ensuring that all new job openings are publicized broadly on websites and listserves to reach the best potential candidates, and by acknowledging, evaluating, and processing all incoming job applications.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Recruitment Intern will post, update, and monitor current job announcements on various websites and listserves.
• Liaise with support staff of various job websites—asking them questions when necessary and keeping records of where and when positions are posted.
• Keep organized, updated, and concise records of all website and listserve job postings.
• Under the supervision of the Recruitment Organizer, the Recruitment Intern will organize, evaluate, and process job applications (including cover letters and résumés).
• Keep organized, updated, and concise records of all job applications.
• Correspond directly with applicants.
• Participate in campaign activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated commitment to social justice and progressive social change.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills and the ability to juggle several tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in a high-energy campaign or non-profit setting preferable.
